Imagine Gresham Phase 2!• Step two in our Imagine Gresham initiative is in full effect!• We took all the data from the engagement over the past few months and summarized it into a new survey.• The hope with this survey, which is open until April 18th, is to confirm that we heard the community correctly and clarify priorities.• To view the survey and see all the Imagine Gresham updates, visit GreshamOregon.gov/Imagine-Gresham.• By identifying the priorities that are most important to our community, we will be able to create a roadmap of the resources that will be needed to successfully bring those priorities to life.

Neighborhood Matching Grants are coming this month! The goal of the Neighborhood Matching Grant program is to encourage projects that foster civic pride, enhance and beautify neighborhoods, expand citizen involvement, and promote the interests of the Gresham community. To accomplish this goal, the Gresham City Council makes available grant funds to City recognized neighborhood associations on a 50/50 matching basis. The City Council firmly believes that community participation in the Neighborhood Associations is mutually beneficial to all Gresham residents. We have $10k budgeted across all NA's for projects that foster civic pride The 2022/23 application cycle opens April 25, 2022 and closes on May 31, 2022. All grant applications must be submitted to the Office of Neighborhoods & Community Engagement (ONCE) before 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Thank you all so much, I need to log off. Thank you for this space!

Is there consideration about providing regular garbage service for those who are camping, to diminish the need for massive cleanup efforts?

58:40
That area off Powell that you're bringing up is a PDX issue. We (CoG) check it daily on our side and recently added no RV parking signage in front of the fields. We have to refer people to the City of Portland for the situation outside our jurisdiction.

CVIP's are not activated yet, but the plan is that they will be resuming their role in the community soon.

Good idea for signs to help slow down. We did a sign “tag” in our last neighborhood to keep the signs moving to people’s right of way so cars don’t ignore it after a couple days in the same spot. Once you are ‘tagged’ you move it to another neighbor after 2 days ;)
