Seconding that districting mapping is a great thing to run by a community committee for final approval. Processes as we are discussing are fairly common on voting reform, and it’s often a challenge because the topic is very nuanced, the timeframe doesn’t allow participants to learn the prerequisites before hand, time for fact checking is limited, members have day jobs, and presenters mostly will have a horse in the race and not be presenting both sides of an issue in a non biased way.
